How often do I have to water the compost?
Due to the composition of our composts, the surface will dry out quite rapidly. Underneath the surface however the compost will still be moist. On average the compost will require watering 30% less than with peat based composts. When using in seed trays however it may be necessary to water on a more frequent basis.
What do I do with the compost at the end of the growing season ?
Once the growing season has finished, dig the compost into the soil in your garden. It will help to condition the soil, in sandy soils it helps with moisture retention and in clay soils will help to open the structure.
How often will the plants need feeding?
The compost has a six week feed included in it, after six weeks use a general purpose feed.
